Inspirational local mum

Inspirational Bangor woman Gillian McDonald hopes that by sharing her brain tumour survival story, she will throw a lifeline of hope to others.

The diagnosis of a brain tumour can be devastating, but this local mum of two told the Spectator she hopes others will find comfort and strength in her remarkable journey from the operating theatre back to her yoga studio.

Just four weeks after undergoing a six-hour operation to remove a brain tumour, which was fortunately benign, Gillian has already returned to hosting her popular Yoga Body classes.
